Job Opportunity: Lough Erne Landscape Partnership (LELP)

LELP are currently recruiting for the post of Environmental Education Officer to join the team. An exciting 9 month opportunity to work as part of the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership (LELP) in Fermanagh during 2021. LELP is a £2.6m partnership programme, delivering 23 projects over 5 years with funding support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The programme aims to protect, promote and enhance the built natural and cultural heritage of the Lough Erne region.

As Environmental Education Officer the successful candidate will connect and engage people with their unique natural landscape by developing skills, improving confidence and providing opportunities to learn, change perceptions and influence its management.  The role will be part time (4 days per week, flexible) working as part of a small team to deliver key natural heritage projects as part of the overall landscape partnership programme. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the communities in Fermanagh and work closely with key professional partners and educational establishments in the area. There are several projects that need to be progressed, and they are looking to work with someone who is ambitious and keen to make a difference by developing and delivering high quality environmental education programmes to different audiences.
