Have your say! New survey launched on the impact and value of Community Trails

25th January 2021

A new survey has been launched to better understand and measure the impact and value of Community Trails to local areas and people’s lives. Due to high response for each location, the surveys are now closed.

Outdoor Recreation Northern Ireland conducted an online survey on three sites across Northern Ireland in order to identify how people are using community trails and the benefits they provide to local communities. The impact and value of local off-road trails and greenspace, particularly to health and wellbeing has never been so apparent, and we invited feedback from users of the following trails which will now be analysed:

Darkley Forest, Darkley

Bunkers Hill, Castlewellan

Ballynahinch RFC Family Trail, Ballynahinch

The feedback is important to determining and showcasing the impact and value of community trails to people’s lives.
