The Challenge
To prepare a framework which informs Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s approach to trail development and management.
The Role
To deliver on the following requirements:
- Undertake a review of current and planned trail provision
- Prepare a criteria based framework which informs Council’s decision making regarding future trail development and management
- Develop recommendations relating to:
- Standardisation and categorisation of existing trails
- routine trail maintenance
- approaches to monitoring and evaluation
- trail signage
