To grow awareness of Northern Ireland’s outdoor and green spaces and encourage responsible behaviour in the outdoors.
The project consists of two elements and will deliver:
- A second phase of Outscape’s ‘Right Side of Outside’ campaign. This campaign aims to address current issues in the outdoors including litter, dog waste, inappropriate clothing and footwear, livestock worrying, irresponsible car parking and the effects from wild camping and wild fires. The goal is to encourage positive behaviour changes in the outdoors in order to protect and preserve Northern Ireland’s natural environments.
- A campaign to increase awareness of the outdoor/green space within Northern Ireland under one of Outscape’s brands – OutmoreNI. The campaign will increase awareness of where people can get active outdoors in order to lead long, healthy and active lifestyles and in particular increase awareness of less popular outdoor areas to reduce the current environmental impacts at ‘honeypot’ sites.
