Client: Roscommon County Council
Approximate Cost: £355,000
The Challenge
To lead a multi-disciplinary team in the management and selected elements that form part of a wider Outdoor Recreation Scheme for Mote Park:
- Outdoor recreation sensory trail, natural play areas and sculptures
- New brand for Mote Park (but can be replicated across other similar sites)
- Promotional materials, signage, video and brochure
The aim of the overall Scheme is to create a destination forest park within Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands for the local community and tourists alike.
The Role
We are the lead consultant appointed to deliver 3 outdoor recreation products that will animate the trail network and enrich the woodland experience for all, but especially those with additional sensory needs.
Our role is to shape and manage the project from the initial planning stage, to design, procurement and construction on the ground. This will involve extensive consultation with key stakeholders, user groups, charity groups, industry specialists and schools.
Our partner, Tandem Design, is leading on the brand development and promotional materials.
McAdam Design is providing the role of Principal Designer and Health and Safety Co-Ordinator.
Cinematic Sky will produce the video to showcase Mote Park.
