NIEA Country Park Scoping Studies
Client: Northern Ireland Environment Agency (Strategic Partner)
The Challenge
To undertake a series of scoping studies for a suite of Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) managed Country Parks. Redburn and Castle Archdale were completed in 2014, Peatlands Park and Crawfordsburn Country Park were completed March 2016.
The aim of each study was to:
‘Undertake an audit of the current provision of outdoor recreation and visitor facilities and make recommendations for future improvement’.
The Role
For both sites we:
- Completed an audit of existing outdoor recreation facilities and visitor services
- Consulted with key stakeholders
- Developed recommendations relating to the future development and management of the Country Parks
