The Challenge
The recently published Rosocommon Outdoor Recreation Strategy identified that ‘there is a disparity in the quality and provision between outdoor recreation sites in Roscommon… Elevating the quality of existing outdoor recreation sites is a key factor in provision’.
The Role
To deliver a structured and comprehensive approach for assessing and improving the overall standard, management, and visitor experience of outdoor recreation sites in Roscommon.
The Quality Framework will be a guiding tool to plan, evaluate and enhance the quality of sites based on defined criteria, indicators, and benchmarked standards.
