Smith’s Strand Project Management
Client: Share Discovery Village
The Challenge
To project manage and deliver a walking trail and associated development at Smith’s Strand, Share Discovery Village.
The Role
We were appointed in August 2019 by Lough Erne Landscape Partnership Scheme (LELP) to prepare an Initial Concept Trail Plan with costed options for a walk trail at Smith’s Strand, Share Discovery Village. This was prepared to in order to inform an application for funding to NIEA’s Environment Challenge Fund (Capital) 2019-20. Following a successful award, LELP advised Outscape to proceed with detailed trail prescriptions for the project.
As lead Project Manager, Outscape co-ordinated and managed the successful delivery of the Smith’s Strand project from RIBA Stage 3 (Developed Design) to RIBA Stage 6 (Handover) for the walk trail and waymarkers only.
